+ What are my payment options?

We accept online the following credit cards-Visa and Mastercard. 

+ Does Crate Expectations offer online retail sales?

Yes, Crate Expectations accepts on-line sales, phone sales or you are welcome to shop in-store. Our store is located at 1a Llaneast Street, Malvern, Victoria, 3144.

+ Does Crate Expectations prices include G.S.T?

Yes. All prices listed on this site are in Australian Dollars AUD and include the G.S.T.

+ How safe is it to use my credit card on this website?

Our payment processing system uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology - the industry standard for encryption technology. SSL is the system that is used by all reputable e-commerce sites. SSL technology is compatible with most browsers. SSL encrypts all information (e.g. your credit card number) passed from your browser to our payment gateway, making it almost impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorized party, as long as your browser and local network supports the use of encrypted data transmissions.

In order to maintain security of this information, credit card details will not be stored on our servers, but only used on an individual transaction basis (i.e., customers enter their credit-card details each time they order). Crate Expectations will not have access to credit card details entered on the web. 

+ How much does Crate Expectations charge for postage?

All orders are sent using Australia Post service. A flat charge of $12.95 applies to each order regardless of how many items are purchased.

If you require two different delivery addresses you will need to place two separate orders, which will incur two separate delivery fees.

You should receive your order within approximately 3 to 10 working days.

If your delivery is to a residential address and you are unavailable during the time of delivery a representative will leave a card for you detailing instructions on where you can go to pick up your order from your nearest Australia Post Office.

+ Can I change my order once it has been submitted on-line?

After you have clicked "Submit & Pay" the order process begins. You cannot make any online changes to your order. Our system is designed to dispatch orders quickly and get them to you. Please contact us on 03 9576 2717 to alert us of your desired changes. We will aim to make the changes as quickly as possible so it can be dispatched to you.

+ How can I add items to an order I have already placed?

Have your details ready and call 03 9576 2717 during business hours (EST). We can only add items if your order has not already been shipped. You may find it easier to begin a new on-line purchase.

+ Is all Crate Expectations stock available on-line?

At Crate, we only have our favourites available online. As we are continually changing our stock in store and often have one off items, it is impossible to have everything available online. If you have seen something you like in store but can’t find it online please contact us on 03 9576 2717 to discuss. Items may be available for purchase by phone.

+ What is Crate Expectations Stock Availability Policy?

Whilst we endeavour to fulfill all orders, please note some styles, sizes or colours may not be available at time of dispatch. As we sell our goods in store simultaneously, occasionally products may be purchased in store and online at the same time. We apologise should this situation arise. We will contact you to notify you of expected delivery. You will only be charged for items available at time of dispatch.

+ What is Crate Expectations returns policy?

In the unfortunate event that an item arrives damaged through the delivery process, please contact us on 03 9576 2717 to organise for the item to be returned and a replacement organised.

Damaged goods must be returned within 7 days and notified in writing within 24 hours of receipt.

If you simply change your mind returns are at the discretion of Crate Expectations.
Please contact us on 03 9576 2717 for a Returns Authorization Number before returning goods and include your receipt of purchase with your return.

If your request to return an item is approved you must return the product in it's original, resalable condition including the packaging and hang tags within 2 days of receipt of authorization.
We will need a copy of your receipt. We will credit your return using the same method of payment but excluding the incurred freight charges.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact Crate Expectations immediately on 03 9576 2717. Once payment for an order has been accepted, cancellation is at the discretion of Crate Expectations.

Please note there is no exchange or refund on Sale Items.

+ Is Crate Expectations an Australian Company?

Yes. Crate Expectations is owned and based in Melbourne. While some of our products are imported from overseas, many of our products are 100% Australian owned.

+ Does Crate Expectations offer gift wrapping?

It’s our specialty at Crate Expectations. We offer beautifully wrapped gifts with ribbons and bows. This is a complimentary service we provide at Crate Expectations, and we are famous for it. Simply add this information on your order. Please specify which items are to be gift-wrapped. Each item is wrapped in beautiful paper ensuring your gift will be received providing a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

+ Can I order and send a gift voucher?

Yes. At Crate, we love sending gift vouchers on your behalf. Call us on 03 9576 2717 and we will arrange postage of a gift voucher in a beautiful envelope. Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from the date of issue.

+ What if I need to send a gift to a different destination?

At Crate, we are happy to deliver your special gift directly to someone special. You will need to place individual orders for each destination. This will allow you to enter the delivery details of each person correctly.
